Offer your clients or guests a Haku Bar to indulge in a Hawaiian creative activity at your event. Fun for all ages!
Haku in Hawaiian (ʻOlelo Hawaiʻi) is defined as to compose, invent, put in order, or arrange. When we make lei, or head lei (also known as Lei Poʻo or flower crown) haku refers to the practice of arranging and composing flowers and leaves, natures treasures into adornments worn in times of celebration or ceremony.
Participants will also be offered a mini Hula lesson at the Haku bar for extra fun!
Let your guests enjoy a Haku Bar where they may participate in creating leis, flower rosettes (small flower bundles pinned into aloha shirts for the men or in the hair for ladies).
Great for any celebration or party, a Haku Bar adds an invitation to your guests to get creative and leave with their own Hawaiian adornments.
The Haku Bar may feature:
– Flower Rosettes (flower bundle to be pinned or clipped on)
– Lei Poʻo (flower crown to be worn on the head by men, women, or kids)
– Lei (traditional flower necklace type adornment)
